Mariam Arcilla works across writing, editing, producing, arts communications and gallery management. She is currently the Communications and Engagement Manager at 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art, the Deputy Chair at Runway Journal, and a Future Leaders recipient at the Australia Council for the Arts. Since 2006, Arcilla has held notable roles at museums, commercial galleries, tech companies, cultural policy boards, and public sector departments in Queensland and New South Wales. She has worked on campaigns and programs with leading bodies, including Arts Queensland, City of Gold Coast, Museum of Brisbane, Institute of Modern Art, THE WALLS, State Library of Queensland, and HOTA. Arcilla’s writing appears in Art Collector, VAULT, Running Dog, Art Guide, Art Monthly among other arts and culture platforms.
