Big changes for GAGPROJECTS

The Tarntanya/Adelaide gallery will soon shut its doors – for now…

Words: Erin Irwin

It has been announced that after 30 years of operation that Tarntanya/Adelaide’s GAGPROJECTS, previously Greenaway Art Gallery, will cease hosting exhibitions in September. However, this is not goodbye: the gallery will still maintain a stockroom and office in Australia, and director Paul Greenaway will still be putting his impressive artworld experience to work as an art advisor and curator in other spaces.

Collectors should also keep their eyes on Berlin, where the gallery will open a fully re-booted space and program later this year. Greenaway has also hinted at a residence program that will be held there – so watch this space.
