KRONENBERG MAIS WRIGHT presents Drawing and Sculpture by Conor O’Shea, a solo exhibition of sculpture and works on paper.

“These drawings and sculptures are embedded within each other. I compose the sculptures though a process of dipping colour prints into liquid wax and pinning them to wood. The forms are then arranged into a state of equilibrium, resembling maps, sewing patterns, schematic diagrams and blueprints for hypothetical buildings. In this process, a role reversal occurs in which the sculpture arrives first and later informs the drawings, which arise from sculptural templates. Repetition is used throughout the exhibition to solidify my interest in particular textures and forms.” Conor O’Shea, 2022.
