Annandale Galleries presents the work of a true master of photography, David Goldblatt. This is the artist’s debut exhibition in a commercial gallery in Australia, following his critically and publicly acclaimed retrospective at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney.
Goldblatt passed away in June 2018 following an extraordinary output spanning more than five decades. In that time, he was awarded some of the most prestigious prizes for photography. His work has been exhibited and acquired by many of the most important museums in the world including the Pompidou in Paris and MOMA in New York.
The exhibition will be officialy opened the MCA’s chief curator, Rachel Kent.
