Following his sell-out solo exhibition in 2020, this much anticipated exhibition opens on Wednesday 17 November, in association with Jilamara Arts and Crafts.

“This painting is Warnarringa – that is the sun in Tiwi. In Tiwi the red ochre is yellow that we burn on the fire – it is the colour of the sun.”

Dino Wilson: Warnarringa Jilamara – Painting Under The Tiwi Sun demonstrates Dino Wilson’s increasing mastery over large format painting and his ability to produce works of art at a scale that captures the vastness demanded by one of his most dynamic and represented subjects – warnarringa (sun).
