Together with the gallery, recently represented artist Eliza Gosse will present Bumpy Roads and Tip Top Sandwiches, a debut OLSEN exhibition of new works on canvas, board and paper. The exhibition takes family tales as its point of departure, recollections of Australian road trips and relationships, memories of motels and pit stop snacks. “I accumulated these stories from the public over the course of a full year—recounts that span several decades and the breadth of the country. From Kellogg’s Variety Packs to sunburns, there are some things that never change”, says Gosse of her process. An artist book will accompany the exhibition and will be launched at its opening.
