Elliott Routledge: Fabricated Anatomy

July 28 - August 14

Elliot Routledge, Under pressure, 152x 182 cm. Courtesy: the artist and Olsen Annexe, Sydney.

Olsen Annexe is proud to present Fabricated Anatomy, an exhibition of new work by Elliott Routledge; The Sydney-based artist who has become known for his abstract paintings, bold sculptures and large-scale public murals. These can be found across New South Wales, commissioned by City of Sydney, the University of Technology and Westfield.

For his debut Olsen exhibition, Routledge will show a series of paintings and sculptures—each work a musing on identity and its formation in young people. His pristine surfaces become aggregates of painterly influences, toying with line and colour to mesmerising ends. The artist encourages us to look beyond his abstract fields however to understand them as being reflections of ourselves.

Fabricated Anatomy will run July 28—August 14.
