Chalk Horse presents a solo exhibition by Emma Finneran titled blue in gravy. In this exhibition, Finneran will be showing a series of new works that orbit around notions of symbiosis. Using water as a means to produce, once again, the paintings are built up over time using washing, dying, bleaching and resistance techniques. The artist will also create an interactive site-responsive window installation that will act as a barrier between outer and inner, where the gallery will appear as if it is beneath an oil slick, or soapy water hole.
The gallery is open and adhering to social distancing measures.
The exhibition can also be viewed online. View the exhibition here.
