KRONENBERG MAIS WRIGHT presents works by Geoff Kleem.
Geoff Kleems practice, though primarily photographic, is conceptually orientated and multidisciplinary. He has exhibited and worked nationally and internationally, his works are represented in public and private collections across Australia.
He will be showing two new bodies of work at KRONENBERG MAIS WRIGHT, Templates + My Moon. Templates is a series of complex works each presenting a collection of various abstracted utilitarian objects or ‘templates’. Each object in the collection has been heat sealed in individual plastic covers and presented as a set of archived or organised objects positioned on wooden pegboards.
My Moon presents a series of images are drawn from 1970’s black and white lunar photographs which have been reinterpreted and extensively reworked by the artist. The Images present fictionalised lunar landscapes representing various possible lunar views. Some are objective, others poetic, in 3D or distorted by technical errors when transmitted across vast distances.
