To coincide with the launch of George Johnson: Triangle, Rectangle, Circle – Geometric Works on Paper 1995-1996 this exhibition offers 15 exquisite drawings dating from the period. Proceeds from sales will support the publication. With text by Patrick Hutchings, Jenny Zimmer and the artist himself, the 136-page book includes colour reproductions of key paintings on canvas, sketchbook drawings and 65 examples of the artist’s lesser-known works on paper of the mid-1990s. As well as the standard version of the book, a limited edition of 20 specially hand bound copies containing a small, original, painting on paper are available.
