Group exhibition: Connecting the World through Sculpture

Part of a year-long program celebrating sixty years of the Monash University Collection, this exhibition of sculpture acquired across six decades will be curated by MUMA’s Director Charlotte Day and presented in three chapters: From the Ground Up; The Sculptural Body; and Into the Air. The exhibition will include collection favourites, including Aleks Danko’s The Danko 1971 Concept of Sculpture. SCULPTURE as being the elusive object HA !, 1971; Patricia Piccinini’s Still Life with Stem Cells, 2002; and Nabilah Nordin’s Trotting, 2020, among many others.
