The historic Curlew artists’ camp at Sirius Cove was the base for significant Australian painters such as Tom Roberts and Arthur Streeton, who helped foster a new ‘Australian style’ in the years leading to Federation. The exhibition features paintings from the period, as well as newly commissioned artworks by artists responding to the site, its artistic heritage and the paintings made there.
