Dark Matter, Bright Light showcases recent acquisitions of contemporary international and Australian works of art alongside iconic works in the collection. Taking its title from Olafur Eliasson’s Dark matter collective, this display brings together artists who often use elemental material such as air, light, fire and stone, or mirrors, lenses and prisms to explore the mechanics of vision, concepts of infinity and the outer edges of perception.

Artists include: Olafur Eliasson, Gilbert & George, Yayoi Kusama, Alicja Kwade, Lindy Lee, Hilarie Mais, and Cornelia Parker.
