He Taura Here is Laree Payne Gallery’s first presentation of 2021, featuring work by Ashleigh Taupaki, Conor Jeory, Hannah Ireland, Heidi Brickell, Jade Townsend, Maioha Kara, Peata Larkin, Tia Ranginui and Vanessa Wairata Edwards.

He Taura Here comprises a breadth of work including painting, carving, photography, printmaking and assemblage. The exhibition is a response to Auckland Art Gallery’s Toi Tū Toi Ora: Contemporary Maori Art (curated by Nigel Borell), joining the celebratory kōrero around the diversity of contemporary Maori art.
