Chistine Tschuna, Say No To Drilling At The Bight, 2019. Acrylic on canvas, 90 x 90cm. Courtesy: the artist, ACE OPEN, and Arts Ceduna.
No Black Seas is an Arts Ceduna Group Exhibition presented by ACE Open and Ku Arts as part of Tarnanthi festival. Under the mentorship of Ku Arts and nationally acclaimed Aboriginal artists Yhonnie Scarce and Ryan Presley, the artists have developed new works investigating the use of glass, photography, film and installation. These new works explore the impact that drilling would have on country and community; sounding the alarm for an issue that is not only theirs but all of ours.
Exhibition opens: 6–8pm Friday 18 October 2019
