Starkwhite presents a pop up exhibition in Queenstown, New Zealand. Situated in the heart of Queenstown at 45 Beach Street, the exhibition features key work from gallery artists including Billy Apple, Martin Basher, Rebecca Baumann, Len Lye, Jonny Niesche, Fiona Pardington, John Reynolds, Gordon Walters and others.
Gallery Director Dominic Feuchs said, “We’ve been interested in presenting works in Queenstown for sometime, and while Covid has scuppered our international program it’s provided us the opportunity to finally realise a Queenstown exhibition. We’re very excited about the works we’re showing.”
The exhibition will include Len Lye’s seminal sculpture Fountain (1960), a selection of Gordon Walters works selected from his recent survey exhibition New Vision, Fiona Pardington’s Portrait of a life cast of Matoua Tawai and Jonny Niesche’s new sculpture Musk, Dusk, Dust (2020).
