Group Exhibition: Significant

Now in its second decade, Significant is D Lan Galleries flagship exhibition, presenting the finest secondary market offering of Australian First Nations art. This landmark annual event offers collectors and art enthusiasts the opportunity to view and acquire museum-quality paintings and sculpture. Again, this year’s exhibition is held at the gallery’s Melbourne, Sydney, and New York spaces.

The foundation of the 2026 edition is a remarkable selection of early Papunya paintings by several of the most celebrated artists from the seminal 1971-72 period, including Kaapa Mbitjana Tjampitjinpa, Johnny Warangula Tjupurrula, and Uta Uta Tjangala.

Another feature is a large-scale installation of 45 individual drawings and paintings by Nyapanyapa Yunupiŋu. Djorra 2014-15 was the centrepiece of the artists survey exhibition at the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory in 2020.
