Shepparton Art Museum presents ceramic works by the extended Boyd family from their collection which celebrate decoration, the domestic and the every-day. The works reveal the way in which art and design intersected for the Boyd family and the influences and inspirations that crossed art, architecture, literature and life.
Artists include: William Merric Boyd and Doris Boyd, Arthur Boyd’s parents; Lucy Boyd and husband Hatton Beck; Arthur Boyd and Arthur Merric Boyd Pottery which included collaborations between Boyd, Neil Douglas and John Perceval; Guy Boyd and Martin Boyd Pottery; David Boyd and wife Hermia Jones; Mary Boyd and husband John Perceval.
