This exhibition presents some of the Gallery Director John Cheeseman’s personal favourites from the Mosman Art Collection. The collection has recently undergone a review along with a total re-organisation of the art storage spaces in the Gallery’s new archival collection store. During this process, with a keen eye, Cheeseman has selected some gems and treasures to exhibit that include the usual suspects as well as some other pieces. Artists include: Judy Cassab, John Brack, Augustus Earle, Peter Kingston, Catherine O’Donnell, John Olsen and Lloyd Rees.
