The Future is Humanity is much more than another group show to kick the year off. After a year of turmoil, The Future is Humanity is a positive assertion, an optimistic hope and a manifesto that will guide what Sullivan+Strumpf does and inform its program of exhibitions and events for the coming year.
Featuring works by long-standing Sullivan+Strumpf artists Tony Albert, Glenn Barkley, Karen Black, Barbara Cleveland, Natalya Hughes, Sam Jinks, Joanna Lamb, Lindy Lee, Michael Lindeman, Dane Lovett, Sanné Mestrom, Ramesh Mario Nithiyendran, Eko Nugroho, Alex Seton, Tim Silver, Grant Stevens, Darren Sylvester, Hiromi Tango, Angela Tiatia, Jemima Wyman, Yang Yongliang and Michael Zavros; and introducing newcomers Maria Fernanda Cardoso, Kirsten Coelho and Lynda Draper, whose debut solos are part of the Sullivan+Strumpf 2021 program.
