This exhibition brings together the artists of Iltja Ntjarra Many Hands Art Centre, Vanessa Inkamala, Kathy Inkamala, Dellina Inkamala and Raelene Inkamala (Western Arrernte), and Jordan Benson in a dialogue of tradition and innovation.
Featuring artists from Iltja Ntjarra Many Hands Art Centre in Mparntwe (Alice Springs, NT), this exhibition celebrates the enduring watercolour legacy of Albert Namatjira alongside new works by Melbourne-based artist Jordan Benson, who brings contemporary themes to traditional stained glass techniques. Together, they explore light, colour, and transparency, sharing skills and stories across mediums to offer fresh perspectives that honours culture while engaging with the present. Expanding on their collaboration for the National Indigenous Art Triennial at the National Gallery of Australia, this exhibition deepens the dialogue between their practices.
Exhibition in partnership with Iltja Ntjarra Many Hands Art Centre and GLAAS Inc.
