After August is Guy Maestri’s first solo exhibition at Sophie Gannon gallery. Maestri uses a panoply of colour, cropped images, and juxtaposing assemblies of sculpture to appropriate tropes of art history, including classical sculpture, pointillism, abstraction and the Dutch Masters.
