Expressing the connected nature of all life and matter is at the core of Jenny Orchard’s art practice. Conversations with Weeds introduces us to a new community of her ceramic hybrid forms. These sculptural figures, at once plant and animal, show signs of the technological exploitations and explorations that have created them.

Orchard has exhibited widely in Australia and was the winner of the prestigious Sidney Myer Fund Australian Ceramic Award in 2017.
