Echoing the dissonance of contemporary life with childhood memories of the fear of the unknown, Judith Wright’s upcoming exhibition Carnivale: Second Stage comprise a new series of her acrylic works on linen and Japanese paper at various scales, accompanied by painted timber sculptures pervading a strong sense of narrative and theatricality.
