Rise and Fall by nationally acclaimed Wiradjuri artist Karla Dickens is a collaborative, community focused project and exhibition for ‘Climate Conversations’ 2025. Through the lens of First Nations story telling and her own lived experience, she highlights the climate catastrophe and the growing sense of urgency and consciousness to meet climate challenges.
‘Climate Conversations’ is a biennial creative initiative of the Byron Shire Council and Lone Goat Gallery, that invites a Northern Rivers artist to collaborate with community and explore ways we can adapt, re-organise, and evolve in the face of climate change through art.
Opening event: Friday 11 July, 5 – 7pm
