Drawing on imagery from Australia, America and Asia, these paintings intertwine landscapes from across continents, to create borderless wondrous new territories. Chin’s mix of painting techniques and historical painting references are as varied as the cultural cues depicted, held together by free-flowing colour and precise brushwork. There is a motif of reflection to open spaces for more idyllic worlds, creating a sense of balance and Structural Equality.

Structural Equality is Chin’s first solo exhibition in Sydney, and his first with Martin Browne Contemporary.
