Yankunytjatjara artist Linda Puna presents Awari! – Wow! at Alcaston Gallery to coincide with the exclusive launch of her collaboration with the ethical fashion label Unreal Fur, in conjunction with Mimili Maku Arts.

Puna presents a collection of bold and spirited paintings that interweave elements of the rocky desert Country surrounding Mimili and the related Tjukurpa stories; alongside more figurative depictions and observations of community such as Toyota 4WD vehicles, houses, cardboard boxes, windmills and water tanks. Puna’s gestural brushstrokes and confident use of colour bring to life the reality of remote community life in a fearlessly honest and playful way.

Awari! – Wow! is a special one-week-only exhibition to coincide with the exclusive launch of Puna’s collaboration with the ethical fashion label Unreal Fur. The Linda Puna x Unreal Fur co-designed capsule collection of outerwear will be launched at the Alcaston Gallery Exhibition Space on Saturday 26 March, 2pm-4pm and available for sale for the first time throughout the exhibition.
