Newcastle based artist Lottie Consalvo’s work traverses painting and video, with a strong focus on performance. Her work mines her interest in the psychology of human experience with ideas surrounding longing, desire, the intangible and the ungraspable. This solo exhibition, Somewhere Else brings her disciplines together as she unfolds the enormity of the immeasurable and the ineffable attributes of distant places in the self.
