Lottie Consalvo’s The Aerial View Of An Anthem presents commanding new works that explore the distant self and its parallels to the expanse of the sea. In these works, an almost uncontainable mass of paint sits energetically below purposeful forms, giving a portal-like depth to each canvas. This exhibition marks an exciting shift away from the horizon line in Consalvo’s work, moving towards the space above or beyond it.
