A major solo exhibition presenting new and recent works by Melbourne-based artist Meredith Turnbull who works freely across the mediums of sculpture, photography, jewellery and moving image to expand notions of art making and reflect on the role of creativity in the everyday.
Turnbull’s recent work focusses on the joyous moments of creativity within the home environment; works made in collaboration with her young daughter and mother further challenge hierarchies of western art and embrace inclusive ideas of ‘art as play, art as culture, art as life’.
Opening event Saturday 19th March, 2pm
