More Salt Please

August 22 – September 12, 2026

Lone Goat Gallery

More Salt Please brings together a collection of works shaped, directly and indirectly, by life near the water.

Featuring photography, painting, moving image and sculpture by Northern NSW artists Filippa Edghill, Sean Leonard, Nat McComas, Bri O’Connell, Cassandra Scott-Finn and Sam Steinhauer, the exhibition explores the many ways coastal living informs contemporary artistic practice.

Originally conceived alongside the Byron Bay Surf Festival, More Salt Please has drifted into a broader reflection on coastal life and the ways the ocean settles into everyday experience: in reflection, movement, memory and ritual. Living near the water leaves its mark – not only on the landscape, but on the people who inhabit it, like the fine layer of salt that settles over everything.
