“I am interested in the notion of shelter; landscape and architectural forms are long-standing motifs of mine. Currently living and working on the north east coast of Tasmania, I have turned my eye to both farm and coastal shacks and sheds”.

Neridah Stockley was born in New South Wales in 1973. She trained at the National Art School in Sydney, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Painting major in 2001. Her practice includes printmaking and ceramics. Neridah has been based in the Northern Territory for over 20 years and is now living in Tasmania. Neridah’s work is held in numerous collections including; Macquarie Group, Artbank, Parliament House Canberra, Newcastle Art Gallery, Charles Darwin University, Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory and The Australia Club. Neridah has also been a finalist in many Art Prizes including; The Glover Prize, Gurguis New Art Prize, Calleen Art Award, The Alice Prize, Jacaranda Drawing Award and the Adelaide Perry Prize for Drawing.
