Ngarandi Nguradha (Deep Listening to Country)

November 28, 2025 - January 27, 2026

Ngarandi Nguradha meaning ‘deep listening to Country’ in Dharawal language is an exhibition of work by the Yirran Miigaydhu weaving group.

The exhibition will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Yirran Miigaydhu (meaning ‘many women weaving’ in Dharawal language), a Campbelltown Arts Centre program for Aboriginal women to meet each month and share knowledge, stories and culture. First established in 2015, the group was initially led by master weaver Aunty Phyllis Stewart and is continued by Aunty Annette Houston and Jo Tanginoa.

This is the fifth exhibition presented by Yirran Miigaydhu and will feature newly completed works that reflect current climate concern and the importance of caring for Country. Alongside new work, the exhibition will also feature key examples of woven works created over the last decade.
