The Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory presents its first Aboriginal solo artist exhibition the moment eternal by Nyapanyapa Yunupiŋu. For more than two decades Yunupiŋu has worked from the remote community of Yirrkala in the Northern Territory, creating significant paintings, drawings, sculptures and screen-based works. This exhibition charts the evolution of her practice, which challenges the conventions of Yolŋu art making and has established her as an important and compelling Australian contemporary artist.
COVID-19 update: The Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory is open and practicing COVID-19 social distancing measures.
