Walking Practice presents a new body of work by Olivia Chin, developed from sketches made while walking the Jatbula Trail in the Northern Territory. Translated into layered material forms, the works trace the durational experience of moving through ancient tablelands shaped by complex ecologies and deep time.

Holding the sensory accumulation of days on Country, these works function as quiet archives—capturing fleeting impressions, embedded histories, and the shifting awareness of a body in motion. In the Australian context, this act of walking carries an inescapable weight, shaped by histories of loss and dispossession, which remains present throughout the exhibition.
