This exhibition surveys the long career of a unique Western Australia artist, which he hopes will “encourage a new generation of art lovers.” Over the decades, Phillip Berry has been awarded numerous prizes, and was an artist in residence at many of Perth’s well-known studios in the 1980s and 90s. Since then, he has experienced the ups and downs of changing trends, throughout which he has maintained his commitment to, and love for painting.
