Rebecca Wallis returns to The Vivian with an extraordinarily powerful solo show of new work. Entitled Carriance, these paintings are a further exploration of Wallis’s deeply philosophical practice, in which she is particularly inspired by the writings of Julia Kristeva and Bracha Ettinger. This is an exciting show of powerful, confronting and sensual works that literally go beyond the parameters of conventional painting.
