Rocket Mattler’s work contains the sensibility of great minimalist art. His sculptures are executed with a high degree of precision.

Transit will be Mattler’s largest sculpture to date and will weigh 750 kg. Two flat steel sheets intersect, taking up space with austere grace. Mattler sees Transit as the fitting of past and future, where one follows through the other seamlessly. The junction of the two plates meet at a critical point in a sophisticated manner and together they are reliant upon one another. They hold each other up and give each other meaning.
