BVRG presents a showcase over two exhibitions, of Australia’s most innovative, challenging and engaging artists working currently. ‘South/East Interference Vol. 1’ features Rosie Deacon, a Sydney-based artist working in sculpture and installation. She engages with the spectacle of obsession and realms of the absurd, producing work that features an explosion of Australiana, colour and whimsical performative moments. Deacon’s work is produced through a variety of processes related to aspects of kitsch, craft and folk art practices.
