Seth Birchall’s paintings pulse with life and colour, capturing idyllic scenarios and landscapes in which light and nature loom large. Inspired by memories – both real and imagined, the artist’s personal sketches and photographs, as well as diverse found imagery, Birchall paints the beauty and peace with which he wishes to be surrounded. In a room filled with his paintings we are drawn through the looking glass, each to our own personal sanctuary or retreat.
