Void_Melbourne presents Stephanie Jook’s debut solo exhibition, Material Grounding. Material Grounding explores the quiet relationship between matter and meaning, and how physical forms can steady the senses. The work draws on the calming qualities found in our natural environment, embodying indirect depiction through tone, rhythm and movement. Each piece becomes a space where thought and feeling settle into material form allowing memory to surface, shift, and restore itself.
