Teresa Baker works with the Tjungu Palya Art Centre in Nyapari Community, South Australia. Baker is known for her dynamic compositions, developing a distinctly unique way of painting the epic travails of Malilu, the artist’s heroine ancestor. This exhibition – Baker’s third solo show with Vivien Anderson Gallery since 2015 – recognises the artist’s significance as senior painter and educator across the APY lands with international relevance.
Exhibition opens: 2–4pm Saturday 23 November 2019
