Tjala Arts: Ninti

The word Ninti means guiding, leading along.

In Amata, the artists of Tjala paint Country as both place and story. Their works carry the presence of ancestral lands, Tjukurpa and generations of knowledge, connecting what has come before with what lies ahead.

Through this painting and sharing of Tjukurpa, these artists continue to guide, teach and strengthen culture for those who follow. In this, Nintiri is a movement between past and future–looking back to Country, drawing on embedded knowledge, and leading a path forward.
