“In fiction, the portal is an opening into another dimension.” – Tracey Moffatt
Roslyn Oxley9 Gallery presents new works by Tracey Moffatt in Portals, her first solo exhibition following her critically acclaimed presentation at the 57th Venice Biennale in 2017. Working predominantly in photography, film and video, Moffatt is known as a powerful visual storyteller. The narrative is often implied and self-referential, exploring her own childhood memories, and the broader issues of race, gender, sexuality and identity.
Exhibition opens: 6–8pm Friday 12 July 2019
