The spacious state-of-the-art Blue Mountains Cultural Centre is a leading regional art gallery in Australia. The gallery features major touring, curated, regional and local exhibitions. Its Exposé Exhibition Program is dedicated to showcasing artists who reside in the Blue Mountains Region. The Gallery also hosts many quality exhibition programs such as curator and artist talks, educational workshops, gallery tours and outreach programs to the community.

Visitors can also experience Katoomba’s diverse street art scene while visiting the Cultural Centre. Explore the Street Art Walk, discover the Living Lanes Project featuring 5 installations across Katoomba’s laneways and have a look at the beautiful mural works leading up to the Cultural Centre in Froma Lane. 2022 marks the 10 year anniversary of the Cultural Centre which opened in November 2012. To celebrate this milestone the Blue Mountains City Art Gallery will feature a number of highlight exhibitions including major survey of the Cultural Centre’s Collection and the Archibald Prize 2021 touring from AGNSW.
