Lismore Regional Gallery is one of the oldest cultural organisations in the Northern Rivers of NSW, playing an active role in the cultural life of its community since it was established in 1953.

The gallery’s vision, A Place for Every Body, ensures everything it does connects deeply with the community, including supporting artists and audiences with different access needs.

Lismore is known for presenting a bold program of largely self-generated exhibitions; investing in artists in the commissioning of new work; and bringing the community along on a shared journey of making and engaging in contemporary art.

Being a Friend of the gallery is a great way to get involved and keep up to date with all the goings-on in the visual arts of the Northern Rivers region. Membership entitles you to discounts on opening tickets, workshops and gallery publications.
