Atong Atem‘s Dust was commissioned by Catherine E. McKinley for Photo Ireland Festival 2023. The series draws inspiration from Dinka women, who act as mediums and custodians to the earth, and explores their relationship to the rupturing history of Christianity and colonialism.
Opening Event: Drinks with artist, Thursday 14 December, 6 – 8pm.
