In the contest of ideas, the contest of oppositional forces, suppression is the order.

Braddon Snape employs the forceful process of inflating cold steel, in concert with mechanical restraints to inhibit inflation, to establish situations of suppression. In the making, acts of restriction imposed on the inflating forms impede and disrupt their potential, conjuring associations to the human condition, of energy thwarted, ideas unrealised, potential suppressed.
