day01. presents In-Relation, bringing together a series of new works pre-occupying Sarah Robson as she explores and interrogates an opening between the fixed and the fluid, ambiguity over absolutes, uncertainty over fixity though a series of felt and bronze work. Alongside these works will be two early Callum Innes etchings that share a sensibility and approach to the expressive and associated potential of the painted and the unpainted in close relation to its support. Both artists’ work appear as abstract compositions, yet demonstrate colour’s power to have an immediate affect on our vision and its ability to heighten visual presence.
