Ebony Gulliver: Thinking Body, Feeling Mind

These abstract paintings explore the relationship between consciousness and embodiment. Through the use of vibrant contrasting colours, repetitive line work and concentric shapes and patterns the works vibrate and pulse, shifting and changing as the visitor moves through the space.

The paintings are designed to connect with the visitor on a physical level, stirring sensations and feelings that prefigure conscious thought processes, a reminder that our interactions with the world are deeply embodied.
